Konrad Laimer is on the verge of extending his Bayern Munich contract beyond 2027, according to Kicker.

After months of tough negotiations, the parties are now very close to finalising terms, with a full agreement and an announcement expected soon.

Laimer, 29, was a regular at full-back during the 2025/26 season for the German champions.

He made 47 appearances in that campaign, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists.

He is currently with the Austrian national team at the World Cup.
