La Liga files complaint over Valencia fans’ abusive chants at Mbappé and Alvaro Arbeola | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, La Liga has filed a complaint over abusive chanting by Valencia supporters aimed at Kylian Mbappé and Alvaro Arbeola during Real Madrid’s visit to Mestalla.

The chants, including an insult directed at Mbappé and a taunt calling Arbeola a cone, were heard during the 8 February fixture, which Madrid won 2-0.

La Liga submitted the case on Tuesday to the RFEF competition committee and the anti-violence commission. Around 10 offensive chants were logged between the first and the 66th minute.

The encounter was tense. Mbappé clashed with the fourth official and later scored in stoppage time.

The complaint concerns a series of insults aimed at Real Madrid and its personnel.
