Late change for Boca as Ander Herrera injured in warm-up | OneFootball

Ander Herrera was injured minutes before kick-off and will miss Boca’s away match against Defensa y Justicia in Florencio Varela, on matchday 16 of the Torneo Apertura.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the Spanish midfielder felt discomfort in his left adductor during the warm-up and was quickly assessed by the club’s medical staff.

To avoid the risk of aggravating the issue, the decision was taken to withdraw him, so he will not feature at the Estadio Norberto "Tito" Tomaghello.

Claudio Úbeda and his assistants have selected Milton Delgado to start in Herrera’s place this evening in Florencio Varela.

Kick-off is at 20:00.
