Leeds United completed their first season back in the Premier League with a 14th-placed finish, eight points clear of the drop, ahead of Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest.

With West Ham relegated alongside Burnley and Wolves, and Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City promoted, the 2026-27 landscape has shifted. According to Transfermarkt, the current market value charts set out the division’s costliest names, following club captain Ethan Ampadu signing a new four-year deal.

Manchester City are led by Erling Haaland at €200m, with Rayan Cherki next at €90m. Arsenal’s most valuable player is Declan Rice at €120m, followed by Bukayo Saka on €110m.

Chelsea have Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo at €100m apiece, with Enzo Fernandez next on €90m. Liverpool’s top pair are Dominik Szoboszlai and Florian Wirtz at €100m each, with Alexander Isak on €85m the next highest.

Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is valued at €90m, with Amadou Onana next at €45m. Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali stands at €80m, followed by Bruno Guimaraes on €70m.

Chairman Paraag Marathe has said Leeds can only call themselves established after surviving the first three seasons back. The latest valuations highlight the scale of the competition they face next term.
