Leeds United fixtures moved for TV with Newcastle date still subject to change | OneFootball

Leeds United’s opening month includes two home fixtures moved for live TV, although the Newcastle United date remains provisional.

According to Leeds Live, Sky Sports have confirmed their early-season selections, picking the Elland Road games against Brentford and Newcastle.

The Brentford match has been switched to Sunday 30 August at 2pm at Elland Road, eight days after Leeds start the campaign away to Nottingham Forest.

Matchday three at Brighton stays at 3pm on the Saturday, while the following week’s visit of Newcastle has been moved to Monday 14 September at 8pm as the Monday Night Football choice.

That plan could still change. If either club reach the EFL Cup third round and are drawn against a Champions League participant, the Newcastle fixture would revert to Saturday 12 September at 12:30pm for television.
