Two Leeds United Premier League fixture changes confirmed, Newcastle clash could move again | OneFootball

The Premier League confirmed fixture changes for Leeds United in August and September, with the Brentford and Newcastle home dates moved for television.

Brentford will visit Elland Road at 2pm on Sunday August 30 after being chosen for live coverage by Sky Sports. The game coincides with Leeds Festival at Bramham Park, which runs from Thursday August 27 to Sunday August 30.

September begins with a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion that remains a Saturday 3pm kick-off. Newcastle’s visit, also selected by Sky Sports, is scheduled for 8pm on Monday September 14, the first Elland Road match under the lights this season.

That Newcastle fixture could still change. If either club reach the Carabao Cup third round and are drawn against a side playing Champions League football, it would move to a 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday September 12.

Leeds enter the Carabao Cup in the second round, set for the week commencing August 24. With the draw expected after those ties, any alteration to the Newcastle game may come with roughly two weeks’ notice.
