Sport Witness reports that Leeds United are among four Premier League clubs exploring a move for Wolves centre-back Santiago Bueno this summer.
Crystal Palace, Brentford and West Ham are also in the frame, and the report says Bueno is determined to stay in the Premier League following Wolves’ relegation earlier this month.
The report adds that Leeds have made an approach to the 27-year-old, with the other three clubs also making contact.
Wolves’ valuation is unclear. Bueno joined from Girona in summer 2023 for around £8.5million.
He has been a key figure since his arrival, making 30 appearances this season across all competitions and scoring three times, including two in the Premier League.
Leeds, promoted last term, strengthened their defence last summer with Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Gabriel Gudmundsson. For now their focus remains securing safety, before turning to summer business.
