Leeds United are monitoring Noah Okafor after a warm-up knock, with Switzerland’s meeting with Norway this evening now in doubt.

Germany edged a 4-3 friendly on Friday, with Leeds midfielder Anton Stach given 10 minutes for Julian Nagelsmann’s side. Okafor stayed on the bench, and Neue Zürcher Zeitung claims he was set to play before suffering the problem in the warm-up.

The 25-year-old earned a first Switzerland call-up since November 2024, replacing injured compatriot Filip Ugrinić after a period out amid a strained relationship with Murat Yakin over minutes and communication. A solid first season at Elland Road brought four Premier League goals in 24 appearances, and he said his World Cup dream remained alive.

His latest issue is described as a knock, and it remains unclear whether he will feature tonight. Clarity should come when the teams are named at 5pm. Okafor has only just returned from a hamstring injury that kept him out of five league and cup matches for Leeds.

Leeds are not back in Premier League action for almost two weeks, though they visit West Ham in an FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday.

Gabriel Gudmundsson also took a knock for Sweden against Ukraine, the left-back later playing down fears before tonight’s final against Poland. Wales are monitoring Daniel James after close to 90 minutes in the shootout defeat to Bosnia & Herzegovina, following his winter lay-off with a hamstring tendon injury at Manchester City in November.
