Leeds United head into a second season back in the Premier League after finishing 14th, with focus now on how their squad market value compares with next season’s rivals.

Newly-promoted Leeds ended eight points clear of the drop, losing only five more league games after November’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester City that marked a turning point. According to Transfermarkt, the comparative squad valuations outline the division’s pecking order.

Leeds totalled 47 points, two behind Everton and Newcastle United. Farke’s side finished two ahead of Crystal Palace, three clear of Nottingham Forest and four better than Tottenham, who scraped survival on the final day.

West Ham were relegated despite collecting 39 points, joining Burnley and Wolves in heading for the Championship. Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City will come up next season, providing a new set of rivals.

At the top of the valuation table sit Manchester City at €1.32bn, followed by Arsenal on €1.23bn, Chelsea on €1.16bn and Liverpool on €1.02bn. Tottenham Hotspur are listed at €811m, with Manchester United at €747.40m.
