Leeds United remain in active talks with Wolves over Jorgen Strand Larsen, and here is how they could line up if a deal happens.
The Telegraph reports that Leeds lodged an official offer this week and were first to table a bid, with competition expected to intensify before the 2 February deadline. Wolves’ reported £40million price would be testing under PSR constraints.
Should they get it over the line, it would be a major statement and would strengthen Daniel Farke’s squad, where selection is already fiercely contested.
In goal, Karl Darlow kept a clean sheet after replacing Lucas Perri against Fulham and appears likely to keep his place for now.
A back three of Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk underpins the strongest set-up. Rodon is back from an ankle issue and remains pivotal, while Bijol is currently sidelined by a hamstring problem but seen as part of the best unit.
Struijk is central to Leeds’ build-up and has been consistently strong defensively.
At right wing-back, Jayden Bogle edges James Justin thanks to superior attacking threat. In midfield, captain Ethan Ampadu adds bite and has shown real class in recent weeks.
