Leeds United’s World Cup contingent, fixtures and how to watch

Leeds United will have four players at this summer’s World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, with kick-off times and UK TV details below.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the tournament begins on Thursday when Mexico face South Africa in the Group A opener. The Leeds contingent is Brenden Aaronson (USA), Noah Okafor (Switzerland), Ao Tanaka (Japan) and Gabi Gudmundsson (Sweden).
Saturday 13 June, two am: Brenden Aaronson’s USA face Paraguay in Group D, on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
Saturday 13 June, eight pm: Noah Okafor and Switzerland meet Qatar in Group B, on ITV1, STV, ITVX plus STV Player.
Sunday 14 June, nine pm: Ao Tanaka’s Japan play the Netherlands in Group C, on ITV1, STV, ITVX plus STV Player.
Monday 15 June, three am: Gabi Gudmundsson and Sweden take on Tunisia in Group E, on ITV1, STV, ITVX plus STV Player.
Thursday 18 June, eight pm: Okafor’s Switzerland face Bosnia-Herzegovina in Group B, on ITV1, STV, ITVX plus STV Player.
Friday 19 June, eight pm: Aaronson and the USA meet Australia in Group D, on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
Back home, Daniel Farke’s side ended their first Premier League season back in 14th, eight points clear, despite a 3-0 final-day defeat at West Ham.
