Leonardo Jardim reaches one month in charge of Flamengo this Saturday, appointed on 4 March after the dismissal of Filipe Luís.

Coluna Do Fla notes the milestone. Since taking charge, Jardim has overseen six matches, recording three wins, two draws and one defeat, a 61.1% return. Flamengo have scored nine and conceded four under him.

His debut brought an immediate trophy as Flamengo won the Campeonato Carioca, drawing 0-0 with Fluminense in the final then taking the shootout 5-4.

The squad held their final session on Saturday ahead of the next Brasileirão fixture. Jardim often runs activation work on matchdays, yet the club’s published schedule lists nothing for Sunday.

Flamengo face Santos on Sunday at 17:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã, in the 10th round of the Brasileirão.
