Leverkusen 'monitoring' Fabian Hürzeler as Hjulmand pressure grows | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that Leverkusen are assessing Brighton & Hove Albion coach Fabian Hürzeler for next season, with the 33-year-old high on a shortlist if Kasper Hjulmand departs.

Kicker.de stated on Monday 23 March that Hjulmand's position is under increasing pressure.

There are no internal flashpoints, and the relationship between Hjulmand and the club's hierarchy is described as professional and calm.

The Rhineland club are scanning the market, and a fresh start ahead of the 2026-27 season is viewed as possible.

Hürzeler, who led St. Pauli back to the Bundesliga in 2024, also has question marks over his Brighton future.

He delivered eighth in his first campaign with the Seagulls, and they currently sit 10th this season.
