Blues have won just once in their last seven games - and that was an FA Cup tie against League One opposition
Liam Rosenior insists he maintains the backing of the Chelsea board despite the club’s woeful form.
Chelsea have lost six of their last seven matches in all competitions in a grim run that has left them as outsiders to qualify for the Champions League next season.
It has left some questioning the position of head coach Rosenior, despite the Englishman having only taken charge in January.
But the Chelsea owners and co-sporting directors are understood to be sticking by the 41-year-old for now.
Chelsea are in desperate need of returning to winning ways when they head to Brighton to face the team Rosenior ended his playing career with.
Speaking about his situation on Monday afternoon, Rosenior was asked whether he has felt support from Behdad Eghbali during Chelsea’s recent slump.
“100 per cent,” Rosenior said. “They [the board] have been supportive of me in our daily conversations, sporting directors involved.
“They've been magnificent in their support of me and the team. We're relying on them.
“We know we need to win games of football in the now. That doesn't go against what we're trying to do, which is give consistent success to this club in the long term.”

Of Chelsea’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League, Rosenior said: “We've made it very difficult for ourselves. We have to be honest and realistic with that.
“What we can't do is give up. We keep fighting.
“We have to make sure we go to Brighton with similar attributes to what I saw against Manchester United in terms of our energy and our intensity and engagement to the game, which was good, but what we didn't do is we didn't keep a clean sheet in the moment and we didn't take advantage of the chances, so we need to be more clinical and more ruthless in both boxes.”
