Libertadores 2026 last 16 draw sets Flamengo v Cruzeiro and full bracket

The 2026 Copa Libertadores last 16 has been set after a draw on Friday 29 in Luque, Paraguay, with Flamengo paired with Cruzeiro. According to Globo.com, the bracket was mapped through to the final in Montevideo on 28 November.
The ties are: Estudiantes v Universidad Católica, Rosario Central v Corinthians, Cruzeiro v Flamengo, Tolima v Independiente del Valle, Mirassol v LDU, Palmeiras v Cerro Porteño, Platense v Coquimbo Unido, Fluminense v Independiente Rivadavia.
Clubs were split into two pots of group winners and runners-up, with group winners to host the second legs. The round of 16 is slated for 11 and 20 August, with Conmebol to confirm the match order in the coming days.
The draw splits the Brazilian sides evenly. Flamengo, Cruzeiro and Corinthians sit on the left half, opening the possibility of a Brazilian semi-final, while Mirassol, Palmeiras and Fluminense are on the right, where Palmeiras could meet Mirassol in the quarters and the winner face Fluminense in the semi-finals.
All six Brazilian clubs that reached the group stage advanced, namely Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Fluminense, Mirassol and Palmeiras, while Botafogo and Bahia fell in qualifying. The last 16 also features sides from Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, Paraguay and Colombia, with no Uruguayan team in the knockouts this season.
Quarter-finals are scheduled for 8 to 17 September, then semi-finals from 14 to 22 October.
