As reported by Coluna Do Fla, the Copa Libertadores knockout stage continues on Thursday 20, with two second legs deciding quarter-final places.
LDU host Mirassol at 19:00 Brasília time at Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado in Quito at altitude. Corinthians face Rosario Central at 21:30 at the Neo Química Arena, São Paulo. Both matches are live on ESPN and Disney+.
The first leg in Mirassol finished 1-1. Eduardo struck on 15 minutes from an Edson Carioca pass, before Michael Estrada levelled on 82, reacting fastest to a loose ball. LDU beat Aucas 1-0 last time out in Ecuador, while Mirassol were thrashed 5-1 by Flamengo in the Brasileiro.
In Argentina, the opening game ended 0-0, an excellent position for Corinthians, who now decide the tie at home. Yuri Alberto missed out injured and Memphis Depay was handling a contract renewal, but with his deal extended the Dutch forward is available to bolster the attack.
Rosario Central arrive after a 1-0 league win over Barracas Central. Corinthians lost 2-1 to Cruzeiro in their last Brasileiro outing. There is no extra time in the Libertadores knockouts, away goals do not count, so any tied aggregate goes straight to penalties.
On Wednesday 19, Flamengo beat Cruzeiro 2-1 at the Maracanã to book a quarter-final spot.
