Several Ligue 1 sides have set their sights on Fiorentina’s Jonathan Ikoné (26) this winter including FC Nantes. However, that has not stopped second-division team Paris FC from entering the race, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Paris FC have recently come under new ownership after they were bought by the billionaire Antoine Arnault and Red Bull. The club are hoping to shake up the footballing landscape in France and are close to their first signing of a new era with the arrival of Thibault De Smet from Stade de Reims.
However, the club have another ambitious target in mind. They want to secure the signing of Ikoné who has fallen out of favour at Fiorentina under head coach Raffaele Palladino. Ikoné is reportedly available for around €8 million although the final fee could be less. Foot Mercato also reports that Ikoné is a target for Saudi Arabian clubs.
