You know who is at it again tonight for Inter Miami, with Lionel Messi opening the scoring in the second leg of the Herons' Concacaf Champions Cup round-of-16 tie against MLS rival Nashville.
The familiar adversaries came into tonight's meeting in South Florida deadlocked after a 0-0 stalemate in the opening leg, with Javier Mascherano's outfit looking to get one over on B.J. Callaghan and company once again.
But just like in countless moments across what will ultimately go down as arguably the greatest career in football history, Messi popped up in a big moment to move the Herons into a position to progress to the quarterfinals.
And he did it while making a bit of history, too.
A typical composed finish into the bottom corner, through traffic, and beyond Brian Schwake is one we have seen before, with Messi now sitting on a mammoth 900 combined goals across his illustrious career for club and country.
The breakdown of Messi's goalscoring heroics:
His influence in MLS cannot be understated, with Messi becoming the fastest player to hit 20 goals and 20 assists in league history (26 appearances), also becoming the fastest to reach 50 regular-season goals and 100 goal contributions (stats via MLS).
He will never run down his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo for goals scored during their era-defining clash on the pitch, but he certainly doesn't need to.
