Liverpool appear set to raid Bayern Munich with a huge double deal. The Reds are far from done in the transfer market.

Liverpool had an unprecedented summer transfer window as they spent record amounts to reshape their squad. The Reds twice broke their transfer record.

Florian Wirtz was the first, joining from Bayer Leverkusen as Liverpool's first ever £100m signing. It was an incredible deal as the club usurped Bayern Munich and Manchester City to sign one of the best young players in football.

Alexander Isak was the next record-breaker as Liverpool finally agreed a British record fee with Newcastle United for a transfer. It was one that dragged on all summer long but proved worth the wait as the club landed one of the best strikers around.

There were record signings at each full-back position, too, while Hugo Ekitike signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for a massive amount. In all, Liverpool paid over £450m for new stars - though, they did also rake in over £200m in player sales.

What's notable, though, is that they're not done. Liverpool have big plans ahead, including a double raid on Bayern.

Liverpool's Bayern Munich plans

Abendzeitung Muenchen claims Liverpool are looking at a €100m deal for Michael Olise at some stage next year. The Frenchman has been sensational for Bayern since arriving from Cyrstal Palace and arguably represents the best chance of replacing Mo Salah.

But that's not the only Bayern player Liverpool supposedly have an eye on. Bild claim the Reds also want to sign Dayot Upamecano in 2026 as he comes to the end of his contract in Bavaria.

He'd be an obvious replacement for Ibrahima Konate, should the Frenchman depart with the end of his own deal after this season. Liverpool will certainly put the pressure on Bayern in contract talks.
