According to Globo.com, Luís Castro has two more days to shape Grêmio's attack for Vasco, with Pavon suspended and Amuzu a doubt with a muscle injury. Jovane Cabral's return to training offers a fresh option.

Cabral trained on Wednesday after a spell out with physical issues, and will be reassessed. He could fill the left flank.

Castro has also considered using Krovinovic on the left. The Croatian has different traits to Cabral and Amuzu but has featured there before. If he is pushed forward, Nardoni would come into midfield.

Enamorado and Tetê are the natural wingers available. The Colombian replaced Pavon in the second half against Vitória, while Tetê started and completed the game at Barradão.

Tetê's display, despite the defeat, pleased the staff physically. He ranked second for distance covered on 10 kilometres, behind Krovinovic on 11.1.

He was also second for high-intensity running with 566 metres, behind Diego Caito's 716. He led for so-called intense actions, with 72, ahead of Wallace and Pavon.

Grêmio visit Vasco on Saturday at 16:00 in the 27th round of the Brasileirão. It is a direct fight against relegation, with Grêmio 15th on 28 points and Vasco 17th, the first side in the drop zone.
