Flamengo’s unbeaten mid-season camp ended with a concern as Luiz Araújo suffered a knee problem during the 4-2 friendly win over Olimpia.

The club said in a statement that imaging on Saturday morning confirmed the problem, with no surgery required. He has begun treatment with the medical department.

He scored the final goal. In the second half he was caught from behind, twisted his left knee and was substituted.

On the bench at Mané Garrincha he immediately applied an ice pack to the area.

In the early hours of Saturday he arrived back in Rio de Janeiro limping.
