Manchester United are reportedly ready to take a serious financial hit on misfiring striker Rasmus Højlund this summer.
Højlund joined the Old Trafford outfit in 2023 but has struggled under the weight of expectation at the Theatre of Dreams.
United initially paid Atalanta €60m for his services with potential adds-on taking the total cost to €70m.
But a report in the Guardian has claimed that United will now listen to offers of just €35m for the 22-year-old in order to get him off their books in time for next season.
Securing a replacement for Højlund is seen as a top priority for the with Wolves man Matheus Cunha believed to be on his way.
Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen and Ipswich hitman Liam Delap have also been heavily linked with Ruben Amorim's side.
