Manchester United are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to Sky Sports News.
The Italy international has entered the final year of his contract at PSG, and his future in the French capital is uncertain with the club closing in on a deal to sign Lille’s Lucas Chevalier.
While Donnarumma is reportedly open to staying and competing for the No 1 spot, a move away from the Champions League winners has not been ruled out.
Sky Sports report that Donnarumma is in no rush to make a decision on his future and is willing to fight for his place, despite increased competition. However, United’s interest in the 26-year-old could influence the situation in the coming weeks.
United’s position has also sparked fresh speculation around the future of André Onana, who joined the club from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023. The Cameroon international is currently with the squad in the United States but is recovering from a hamstring injury.
There has been no confirmation from either club, and no offer has been made at this stage.
