Manchester United: Saudi Arabia persists

Manchester United: Saudi Arabia comes knocking again
The future of Bruno Fernandes could once again become a hot topic in the upcoming summer transfer window. In a Manchester United side desperately seeking stability, the Portuguese attacking midfielder remains one of the club’s few reliable anchors, even during a period riddled with uncertainty and self-doubt. According to information reported by Fabrizio Romano, Saudi Arabia’s interest is very much alive and could become concrete in the coming months.
In a recent interview, the Red Devils’ captain spoke candidly about the approaches he’s received.
"The president of Al Hilal spoke to me. He called me directly. Neves sent me a message saying he wanted to talk. They wanted me to play in the Club World Cup with Al Hilal," he explained,
pointing out that this interest dates back to the Jorge Jesus era. Without ruling anything out, Fernandes insists that money has never been the driving force behind his decisions.
Yet, behind this loyalty, a sense of discomfort lingers.
"It hurts me a lot... it makes me sad," he admitted,
convinced that the club was ready to sell him last summer. It’s a bitter feeling for a player who claims to have always given his all for the badge, and whose future could, this time, truly take a dramatic turn.
