Mano Menezes compares Benfica target Felipe Augusto to Carlos Vinícius | OneFootball

Former Brazil coach Mano Menezes, now Peru boss, has praised Trabzonspor striker Felipe Augusto, a Benfica target for next season, and compared him with Carlos Vinícius.

"He is a very interesting player, a physically imposing forward at 1.87 m. He is left-footed, has presence in the box and scores goals. He is more experienced now, we have followed him and he has 15 goals for Trabzonspor," said Menezes, speaking to RTP Antena 1.

"I think he is an interesting player. I do not think integration will be a problem. He can grow in Portuguese football, because tactically he will become more complete."

"If I could compare Felipe with someone, I would compare him with Carlos Vinícius, who also played for Benfica. They have similarities."

Benfica are in talks with Trabzonspor over the 22-year-old Brazilian striker.
