Spanish defender left Stamford Bridge for Spain this summer
Marc Cucurella has urged Enzo Fernandez to join him at Real Madrid after the left-back completed a move from Chelsea.
Cucurella, who spent three years at Stamford Bridge, signed for the La Liga side this summer in a deal worth £51.7million.
The Spaniard, on international duty with his country for the World Cup, was thought to have had an uncertain future in west London, and he moves on before Xabi Alonso takes over the reins next month.
Fernandez, the Argentine midfielder, has also been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital, and Standard Sport understands that Chelsea have placed a £120m price tag on his head.
Speaking to Radio Marca, Cucurella revealed that he hoped his former team-mate would join him in Spain.

"He's a great player and a friend of mine,” the defender said.
“He congratulated me on the signing. I hope it happens.
“I would be very happy. We were very happy at Chelsea, and to have the opportunity to both sign for Real Madrid in the same summer.
“I hope he's lucky and becomes a Real Madrid player."
In his three years in the capital after his move from Brighton and Hove albion, Cucurella played 115 games for the Blues in all competitions.
He is Spain’s starting left-back at this summer’s World Cup, getting the nod from Luis de la Fuente for both the European champion’s group games so far.
La Roja were held to a stunning 0-0 draw by Cape Verde in their opener, but they registered their first win of the tournament with a rampant 4-0 thrashing of Saudi Arabia on matchday two.
