Marcus Rashford confirms Barcelona’s transfer decision

Marcus Rashford has on Wednesday seemingly confirmed the widespread reports that La Liga giants Barcelona have opted against making his signing permanent.
The name of attacker Rashford has of course reemerged as a leading one in the media headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.
As much comes after something of a personal blow for the 28-year-old was revealed.
Rashford spent this past season plying his trade on loan with Barcelona, largely impressing en route to a haul of 28 direct goal contributions in all competitions.
As per a whole host of European football’s leading journalists, though, such production has not proven enough to convince Hansi Flick and co. of the Englishman’s worthiness of a €30 million price-tag.
Barca have therefore informed Manchester United that they do not intend to take up their option to make Rashford’s signing permanent.
And as alluded to above, the versatile attacker has himself now seemingly confirmed the widespread media claims.
As noted by eagle-eyed Blaugrana supporters across the globe on Wednesday, Rashford has removed the club’s name from his official social media platforms:
