Marcus Thuram to miss World Cup last 16 against Paraguay | OneFootball

Marcus Thuram will miss France’s World Cup last 16 against Paraguay on Saturday.

Didier Deschamps said on Friday that Thuram remains on an individual programme, is feeling better, and has resumed running, with further work planned the same day.

He came on in the 90th minute of the 3-0 win over Iraq on 22 June.

He then missed Tuesday’s 3-0 round-of-32 victory against Sweden because of a calf problem.

Thuram has not yet rejoined full training with the squad, and France reported no other absences.
