Marseille receive Quinten Timber and Igor Paixao bids | OneFootball

The transfer window has yet to open, however, Olympique de Marseille have already received bids for Quinten Timber (24) and Igor Paixao (25), as per a report from L’Équipe.

OM’s failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for next season will mean that the club will be forced into selling some of their players, even those that they perhaps would rather not. Timber and Paixao, two of Marseille’s better performers this season, are already attracting interest and indeed concrete offers, even before the opening of the transfer window. Both have contracts that run until 2030.

Greenwood and Balerdi shown the exit door

There are two more obvious candidates for departures: Mason Greenwood (24) and Leonardo Balerdi (27). Both are on significant salaries and will need to be shifted, perhaps even in the event of qualification for the UEFA Europa League, which is still possible going into the final day of the season. 

He is not yet even through the door, or even confirmed for that matter, but incoming sporting director Grégory Lorenzi will have plenty of work to do.
