Olympique de Marseille could move for Arsenal back-up Illan Meslier as they reassess their goalkeeping options this summer.

Foot Mercato reports that the former FC Lorient goalkeeper is on OM’s shortlist after No.1 Gerónimo Rulli left for Manchester City, where he is now the No.2. Meanwhile, Get French Football News reports that Marseille also have an interest in Standard Liege’s Matthieu Epolo.

Meslier has already changed clubs this summer, joining the Premier League champions to be third-choice behind David Raya and Kepa. He arrived after his Leeds United contract expired, having previously lost the No.1 spot at Elland Road.

Jeffrey De Lange started the opening-day win against RC Strasbourg Alsace, although his place at the Vélodrome is not guaranteed.

While Meslier is an option, the club still need to sell before acting.
