Masuaku future uncertain as £34.3m target ‘offered to’ AC Milan | OneFootball

Sunderland defender Arthur Masuaku is the subject of conflicting reports in Türkiye, with uncertainty over a proposed switch to Konyaspor.

Konya’nin Sesi reported talks were in their final stages and that Sunderland were prepared to let the DR Congo left-back leave on a free.

However, Yeni Meram claims the move may now be on hold, with Masuaku keen to assess alternatives and Konyaspor cooling their interest to pursue other options.

Elsewhere, Tutto Juve says AS Roma have offered Matias Soule to AC Milan. The Argentine has been linked with Sunderland, but there is no indication they will chase a deal that could top £34.3 million, and Milan are said to view the price as affordable.

Fulham are also understood to be closing in on Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Garcia, previously mentioned as a Black Cats target since their return to the Premier League last year. Fabrizio Romano reports an agreement at £34.3 million plus £1.7 million in add-ons, with Madrid set to retain a 30% sell-on clause. Garcia appears likely to link up with new Cottagers head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, who has recently taken charge.
