The Telegraph’s Matt Law says that one club expects that there player will be joining Chelsea in this current transfer window.

It’s not exactly blown up with big Chelsea transfer news but this is probably because at the moment the club have been concentrating on playing in the Club World Cup.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea have three goalkeeper targets and are still in for Mike Maignan and want to sell two current GKs!

I’m fully convinced Chelsea will go for a goalkeeper still this window but it is something that will happen later on in the window. And despite the Mike Maignan thing consistently being played down now, I can still see Chelsea going back for him – as is actually reported in the story above!

There is also a situation bubbling up with Andrey Santos, who will be disappointed not to have played yet for Chelsea in the Club World Cup and will surely be weighing up his own future right now. The Santos noise is soon going to start increasing.

How to alienate an entire fan base

You sign Alejandro Garnacho, that’s what you do!

And Chelsea have got their fans on edge after the latest rumours regarding a possible move for The Blues to sign Garnahco from Manchester United this summer. This one just will not go away, and Chelsea fans on the whole are fuming about it.

Gittens expected to join

Regardless of whether Chelsea sign Garnacho, Jamie Gittens of Dortmund is expected to join as well, that is at least according to his club – via Matt Law of The Telegraph.

Law writes:

‘Dortmund expect Gittens to move to Chelsea, despite turning down a £42 million bid this month, with talks between the two clubs ongoing and the expectation of a face-to-face meeting in the United States at the Club World Cup.’
