Maurizio Sarri is set for crunch talks with Lazio over his future after the Coppa Italia final, with several Serie A clubs attentive to the outcome.

Il Messaggero reports that Sarri will meet president Claudio Lotito and sporting director Angelo Fabiani following the 13 May final against Inter Milan to map out next season. He will present transfer demands, and the club’s response could shape whether he stays.

The 67-year-old signed a three-year deal on returning last summer, yet his position remains uncertain after a turbulent campaign he has described as the most challenging of his career. He clashed publicly with Lotito in January over key sales and the suitability of replacements.

If common ground is found the partnership could continue. If not, Sarri will seek an exit and is not expected to resign before securing an agreement with another club.

Three clubs have emerged as leading suitors, Napoli, Fiorentina and Bologna. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has recently sounded out a possible return. Any Fiorentina move may hinge on Fabio Paratici revisiting their partnership after a troubled year at Juventus, while Bologna could make a change if Vincenzo Italiano departs following an underwhelming season.

AC Milan and Atalanta are also named in the background. The two Lombardian clubs could part with Max Allegri and Raffaele Palladino amid recent struggles, with Sarri a potential candidate.
