Max O’Leary has been recalled by the Republic of Ireland after impressing for Albion in their successful fight against relegation.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 29-year-old goalkeeper is in Heimir Hallgrímsson’s 21-man squad for a Spanish training camp, with team-mate Jayson Molumby also selected.
Ireland play Grenada in Murcia on May 16, then Qatar on May 28 and Canada on June 6.
Molumby missed Albion’s final-day defeat at Sheffield Wednesday with a minor hamstring strain and has the chance to add to his 34 caps.
O’Leary made his only senior Ireland appearance in a friendly against Luxembourg last June, after helping Bristol City reach the Championship play-offs.
He joined Albion on a short-term deal at the end of January and made 17 appearances, 16 in the Championship, with eight clean sheets.
James Morrison’s side strung together six shutouts in seven matches to clinch safety.
O’Leary is out of contract this summer, with Albion weighing up their goalkeeping options.
Josh Griffiths, 24, lost his starting spot to O’Leary, while third-choice Joe Wildsmith is on loan at Middlesbrough and set to depart.
