Maxi Pereira says FC Porto were deserving winners after spectacular year | OneFootball

Maxi Pereira has hailed FC Porto’s successful season.

"FC Porto foi um justo vencedor, fez um ano espetacular", said Maxi Pereira, speaking to O Jogo.

The Uruguayan swapped Benfica for FC Porto and became champion at the Dragão, helping to end Benfica’s title reign in 2017/18.

He brought grit to that triumph and says he identifies strongly with the club’s blue and white culture.

Pereira also compares that title-winning side with the current Porto team.
