Palestra, who is owned by Atalanta and developing well during his spell with Cagliari, is one of several talents around whom “eye-watering figures” are starting to circulate, indicating that transfer negotiations have already begun. Clubs in Europe have extensively scouted him already.

Both Milan and Juventus are actively tracking the young defender, suggesting a potential high-profile transfer saga for the player once his loan deal concludes. There is also interest from some Premier League clubs.

Atalanta, known for their successful youth academy and shrewd business, is expected to set a significant price for the emerging star, with Palestra valued at €30 million right now.
