AC Milan are exploring a formal strategic partnership with Ligue 1 side Toulouse, seeking to emulate the highly lucrative multi-club network established by Chelsea and Strasbourg under BlueCo.

According to CalcioMercato, the potential synergy between clubs within the same organisational sphere can yield significant financial and sporting dividends when managed with long-term vision.

Milan recently experienced this dynamic firsthand on August 19, when they completed the high-profile acquisition of Belgian winger Diego Moreira from Strasbourg for €45m plus €20m in add-ons.

Cardinale spearheads plan to bring Milan and Toulouse closer

RedBird Capital owner Gerry Cardinale is now keen to establish a similar operational pipeline between Milan and Toulouse. The dry loan of defender David Odogu to the French outfit in mid-August is viewed as the initial test case for a broader collaboration.

Toulouse continue to build their project around data-driven scouting and young international talent. As a result, Milan’s sporting direction is actively monitoring several high-potential figures at the Stadium de Toulouse, including goalkeeper Guillaume Restes, highly touted midfielder Alexis Vossah, and Argentine attacking duo Santiago Hidalgo and Julián Vignolo.
