Alex Neil hailed Millwall’s qualification for the Championship play-offs as “the biggest achievement the club’s had in the last 24 years”.
Millwall booked their place in the top six by beating Stoke, and are still in the fight to avoid the play-offs completely by winning automatic promotion to the Premier League.
“It’s the biggest achievement the club’s had in the last 24 years,” Neil said.
“We’ve got two games to play, but we’ve still got our eye on what the next two games look like because we just need to go and try and win our next two games and then let’s see what happens elsewhere.
“The fact we’re in the fight for automatic promotion is an absolutely incredible achievement for this team, this club, everybody connected with it.
“We’ll fight to the end, and we’ll see where that takes us, and if we end up in the play-offs, we’ll give it our best shot.”
