Milovanovic heads winner as Alverca climb into ninth | OneFootball

Alverca beat Arouca 2-1 at the Complexo Desportivo FC Alverca on Friday night to climb from 11th to ninth in Liga Portugal.

In the ninth minute, Kaiky Naves glanced in from close range, meeting Nabil Touaizi Zoubdi's cross after a corner.

After the restart, Espen van Ee drilled in from outside the box (49.), set up by Bas Kuipers.

Alverca restored their lead when substitute Marko Milovanovic headed in Chiquinho's teasing cross (71.).

Chiquinho needed treatment before the break but recovered to create the decisive moment later in the game.

Arouca saw more of the ball, finishing with 64.4% possession and 14 attempts. Alverca were clinical, posting seven attempts from limited territory.
