If you're a fan of aggressive, attacking play, well, modern football is for you! And the 2026 World Cup has seen plenty of it.
The game's biggest stars so often score for their clubs, and this year they're doing the same for their national team in record style.
Erling Haaland was the latest to reach new heights at the 2026 World Cup, as his brace to eliminate Brazil on Sunday tied him for the lead in the scoring charts.
He sits alongside Argentina's Lionel Messi and France's Kylian Mbappé with seven goals each at this stage of the tournament. Harry Kane, whose game against Mexico is coming up, sits behind the trio with five goals.
It's the first time in World Cup history that three players have scored so many goals.
Who will finish on top by the end of it? Let us know in the comments below.
Long live attacking football!
