Monaco were thrashed 4-1 by Paris FC, their back line overwhelmed by counters and the hosts’ pace. The contest felt settled inside 20 minutes.
According to Nice-Matin, the Kehrer, Zakaria and Faes trio, so reliable lately, were repeatedly exposed, leaving Hradecky helpless on all four goals. He did deny Munetsi at 47 minutes, yet one or two extra saves might have kept Monaco alive.
Kehrer’s 150th Ligue 1 outing was a torment. Beaten by Simon, provider of the opener, his passing wavered, including a dangerous ball into traffic at 58 minutes. He made way for Pogba on 69, applauded by Jean-Bouin in his first appearance since 5 December.
Zakaria lost his positioning and focus, Immobile’s drops caused problems, and he stood off for the Italian’s goal. Shifted into midfield after the break, then back again, he headed poorly before the 4-1. Faes was distant from Ikoné for the second, watched the third, and was beaten by Koleosho’s rocket, despite a miracle block on Lopez at 14 minutes; he also lunged and missed as Munetsi threatened at 47.
Teze’s delivery was predictable and he was caught too high, replaced by Diatta at 46 who offered little and never crossed. Camara’s technical waste led to a Lopez chance at 23, and he was withdrawn for Mawissa at 46 after a flat display.
Bamba started timidly and was outpaced by Munetsi for 2-0, then grew into it. He switched play well, dribbled past men and fed Balogun for Monaco’s goal on 36. A header at 41 landed in Trapp’s gloves, he made key recoveries at 44 and 56, then faded and felt his right knee late on.
Adingra switched off on Ikoné for the opener, lacked bite in duels and pressed late, with Fati signalling him to join in. He still beat men off the dribble, forcing Trapp into a save on 20 and picking out Balogun on 33. Coulibaly started with Golovin out, found space but mixed the execution, volleying wide at 44, then vanished and was replaced by Akliouche on 69.
Fati, starting for the fourth time in 2026, rarely received facing goal. Trapp saved his efforts at 21 and 45+2, and he should have placed the second better. Balogun extended his scoring run to seven straight league games, the first in Ligue 1 since Neymar in May to August 2022, but blazed over at 33, had a penalty shout when Lees-Melou tripped him at 45+4, and was replaced by Biereth on 87.
