Monaco want to sign a 2nd Barcelona star this summer | OneFootball

French outfit AS Monaco have set their sights on the signature of another member of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona.

This comes amid the understanding that the Principality club have begun exploring a potential deal for Marc Casadó.

Monaco and Barcelona of course did business for the latest time on the transfer front last summer, culminating in Ansu Fati joining the former on loan for the season.

This deal is expected to be made permanent at any moment, bringing welcome funds to Catalunya’s capital.

And as alluded to above, Monaco’s Blaugrana shopping list does not appear to end there…

As per a report from Spanish journalist Ferran Martinez of Mundo Deportivo, the Ligue 1 side are also one of several suitors of the out-of-favour Marc Casadó:

‘Jorge Mendes, agent of Marc Casadó, was in Montecarlo yesterday, and the name of the midfielder is on Monaco’s table. He has offers in Europe and in Arabia, but he must mull over whether any of them convinces him enough to leave Barça.’
