James Morrison admitted Nolan Galves’ knee injury “doesn’t look good” after the West Brom defender was forced off during their 1-0 Championship win over Derby County.

Galves will undergo further assessment after suffering the problem in a challenge with Derby winger Mo Fuseini early in the second half at Pride Park.

“He will be assessed like always but it didn’t look good,” Morrison said. “It was his knee. It doesn’t look good.”

Galves, who joined the Baggies from Rodez during the summer, was unable to continue following the challenge and West Brom must now wait for the results of a scan to discover the extent of the damage.
