Nagelsmann confirms Musiala and Havertz’s return for March friendlies | OneFootball

Julian Nagelsmann announces that he’s intending to call both Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz back to the squad for the upcoming games. Germany will play Switzerland and Ghana in friendlies at the end of this month.

“With Kai (Havertz) and Jamal (Musiala), it already makes sense for them to return in March,” Nagelsmann confirmed the decision in an interview with Kicker. “That’s because it has felt like an eternity since they were last involved. I haven’t seen Jamal with the national team for over ten months, and Kai for even longer.

“It‘s very valuable to have them back. Otherwise, it’ll eventually become difficult for them to find their rhythm within the national team set-up.”

Musiala has only started one league game since returning from injury, while Havertz was back once again for Arsenal in Sunday’s narrow win over Chelsea.
