Nathaniel Brown is close to joining Bayern Munich from Eintracht Frankfurt after a breakthrough in negotiations, Bild reports.

The clubs are said to have agreed a fee just under €65 million on Wednesday, with only the structure left to settle.

Talks now focus on how the package is divided between a guaranteed sum and add-ons.

Frankfurt want bonuses to account for only a limited share, yet there is confidence the move could be finalised in the coming days, likely before Germany’s World Cup opener against Curaçao on Sunday.

Brown is understood to have agreed terms with Bayern until 2031.
