It ended Union Newcastle 2 Nottingham Forest 0.
A hard fought first half, Joelinton coming close to scoring twice but Sels making good saves.
Then it was Captain Bruno taking a grip on the second half.
Great work from Dan Burn setting up Bruno for a cracking finish from outside the box.
Then determined to finish them off after Sels and the woodwork had kept it at 1-0, Bruno made a lung bursting run to close Forest down and ended up fouled with a spot-kick to finish it off late on.
Gordon had been subbed so Big Nick got the chance and buried his penalty in the top corner.
Looking at the individuals in black and white, interesting to get an independent perspective on how this played out.
