Newcastle United have asked about RB Leipzig midfielder Nicolas Seiwald, according to Sky Germany, with new head coach Matthias Jaissle regarded as an admirer of the 25-year-old.
Leipzig consider Seiwald integral to their plans for the coming season, and it would likely take a substantial offer for them to contemplate a sale.

The Austria international joined Leipzig from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2023 for a reported €20 million.
