Newcastle make bid for Sesko | OneFootball

Newcastle United have submitted a €75 million bid for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko according to reports.

The Magpies are looking to bring in a new striker and have previously been linked with a move for Brentford's Yoane Wissa and are now hoping to seal the signing of Sesko.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Newcastle have offered to pay €75 million (£65.5 million) up front with the potential of a further €5 million in add-ons.

Manchester United are also said to be keen on the Slovenian with Eddie Howe's side looking to win the race for the player.

A move for Sesko could open up the chance of Alexander Isak joining Liverpool with Newcastle having already turned down a bid for their star striker.
