Roma continues to evaluate various players to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.

In recent hours, the Giallorossi management has reportedly been offered Nico Gonzalez, an Argentine winger leaving Juventus and looking for a new position.

According to TMW, the 1998-born player hasn’t been offered solely to Inter. Possible destinations also include AC Milan, especially in the event of Rafael Leao’s departure, and Roma. Gasperini knows and appreciates the player, having already monitored him during the coach’s previous stint at Atalanta.

The Argentine’s profile, however, doesn’t appear to fully match the characteristics identified by the Roman club.

For the left flank, Roma would prefer a right-footed winger capable of beating opponents, cutting inside and finishing towards goal, or providing Malen with the final pass.

Another factor to consider is age. Nico Gonzalez is 28 years old and would be unlikely to guarantee Roma a future capital gain.

The Giallorossi’s strategy would be oriented primarily toward players between 21 and 26, already ready to compete at the highest level but still valuable on the market.
