According to La Repubblica, Massimiliano Allegri has agreed to terminate his Milan contract without receiving a payout, so the Italian tactician is now free to sign for Napoli.
The Allegri era at Napoli is about to begin, as the Livorno-born coach has terminated his contract with his former club, Milan.
Allegri remained under contract until June 2027 after being sacked at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Repubblica confirms that a new meeting between Allegri and Milan executives took place on Monday.
Negotiations between the two parties were paused weeks ago as the Rossoneri were reshaping their club management following the dismissals of Giorgio Furlani, Igli Tare, and Geoffrey Moncada.
